Bruce H Levin, MD has been practicing medicine for more than three decades and has greatly helped patients suffering from a variety of disorders. As a board certified pain management specialist at the Pennsylvania Spine and Headache Center, Dr. Levin manages complicated patients and treats a variety of complex pain disorders. Dr. Levin has developed innovative treatments for Postlaminectomy Syndromes (Pain, Weakness, or Numbness following Back or Neck Surgery), Peripheral Neuropathies, CRPS/Sympathetic Pain Syndromes, Chronic Pain after Joint Surgery, Migraine and Cluster Headaches, Facial Pain, certain types of Chronic Daily Headaches, as well as Chronic Lower Back, Upper Back and Neck Pain, Disc Disorders, Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis, Chronic Postsurgical Pain Syndromes and others.
Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Levin’s foray into the medical field started with an early interest in science during his high school years. He followed his passion and excelled at Howard University before achieving an MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1984. Following this Dr. Levin completed his internship in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital, a residency in anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and fellowships in trauma and obstetrical anesthesiology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed a fellowship in pain management at New York University. Dr. Levin has consulted for a number of companies including AstraZeneca, Marsam Pharmaceuticals, IPMed Inc., MedComp Inc., Martech Medical Products Inc. and Autonomic Technologies Inc.
